When you Know your Self; You Know Me

I was looking at old pictures and saw my friends and my Self and realized the photos aren't me. If they aren't me, they hold truth to my loved ones then, too!
The body and personality are just a cover to your True Self. When you identify your Self with the body and personality, you are fooling your Self. To accept this truth is a huge weight off your shoulders.
As I've continued to meditate I look into the mirror and see past my body and face, but stare deeply into my own eyes, the window to the soul. I honestly forgot what I looked like until I began to stare into the pictures. "That's me?" I asked my Self. "No" I answered, "This is me!" and took a deep breath inwardly.
We are all for the most part fooled.
I remember when in High School I always felt no one knew the true me. I never knew the true me either, but still expected others to see past my own blindness. I used to cry my Self to sleep. "Why can't I have a friend just like ME? (In reference to the deepest part of my Self) Why is it I know these people so deeply, yet they can't figure me out? All these friendships seem superficial, they have no clue who I AM?"
Now I know they only knew " Tammy. " The Tammy that was funny, friendly, weird and smart. I only knew that Tammy too, but always felt there was something else more to me. Now I've realized that that something is more is my True Self, the Soul.
Only until someone knows there true Highest Self, the God within us, will someone know me. And when they know me, we will be ONE together, as in namaste.
In today's world we seem separate from each other. Different parents, races, sex, social-statues and etc. If you go past the superficial things you realize we are all one.
I am in YOU and YOU are in ME. Until you realize it, we will appear separate.
When we are "separate" we judge, hate, disrespect, doubt and more. When we realize our connection we are in union - unconditional love, eternal bliss, infinite heaven...
We are all reflected within each other, in the image of God. When you are ready, you too will see, that we are brother and sister, children in God.
Until we realize our Selves in God, we are unable to know the truth about each other. Until you know your Self, you will never know me. This statement answers my HS questions and I accept it. Until I fully know my Self, I won't know you. But I am going to try. The world will be a better place once we all look within our Selves to find truth and happiness rather than outwardly, in material wealth and power. We are only hurting our selves and each other when we do not remember our own Divinity in all. To change the world, is to first change your Self. Go within, know your Self and you'll see everything in a whole different light.
You will realize you are one in all, and all in you.
